Gas Engineer

Blocktech MEP are looking for Emergency Gas engineers (FCO’s) who have a good work Ethic and want to earn money. The initial contract is for 6 months possibly leading to an extension or permanent role dependant on individual performance.

The ideal candidate will have more than 4 years’ experience within a similar role and will also have the aptitude to work with mobile technology and demonstrate a commitment to delivering first class customer service, ensuring repairs are carried out to a high standard and, whenever possible, resolved at the first visit.

We will also be looking for people who take pride in their work, and are conscious of being an ambassador for our client’s company.

Necessary Requirements or attributes:

A full Uk driving Licence

Required Insurance Certification

Gas Safe and one of the following:

(If you’re missing CESP1 or it has expired it is a one-day course and around £600)

You’ll be attending emergency calls with an aim to complete repair first time or when necessary, take steps to temporarily make the building or occupier safe and secure.

If successful what you will get in return is between £225 – £250 a day depending on weather you have your own van within 7 years old.  Further benefits include overtime at time and a half as well as a monthly attendance bonus of £400.
