Blocktech MEP are currently looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join our highly regarded Engineering client who is offering an exciting opportunity to make a home and grow with the business.
The ideal candidate with have experience in managing projects ranging from two hundred thousand to two million plus, across several different sectors. They will need to have a proven track record in managing teams to successfully deliver projects in time, within budget, and with minimum lost man hours.
A great working ethos and a passion to grow the company and brand of our client by delivering excellence within the engineering field with a strong emphasis on adopting new technologies, performance, quality, safety, and teamwork.
- Necessary Requirements for the successful candidate:
- Detailed knowledge of the project manager role
- Detailed knowledge of Engineering
- Commercial and budget knowledge and understanding
- Health, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures
- Lead and motivate the team.
- Manage performance: monitor, give feedback, and confront issues. Effective communication skills
- Attend and participate in monthly project managers meetings.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with the client from project start up to project completion.
- Find a problem or issue as a challenge to overcome and learn from.

Salary: Competitive plus phone and travel expenses
Hours: 40 a week with 21 days holiday
Reporting directly to the Divisional Mechanical manager
