Description
Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for am LV Authorised Person for a short-term contract in South Kensington to over see approximately 6 to 7 testers working on a High end residential fit out.
Our client is a large Electrical Contractor who specialise in this type or work, so although this contract is a short-term placement for the right person with the correct work ethic and technical skills, it could and should lead on to a further contract.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management and delivery of the testing and commissioning activities in line with the Business ESSOW.
- To fulfill the role of LV – AP on the project LOTO Process / Key safe register / Isolation register / Mimic charting / safe to energize inspections
- Liaising with circa 4-6 no testers and 2 no electricians to deliver the above requirement
- Management and population of testing paperwork in line with AS-Built info and redline info in advance of testing activities.
- Filing, and storing the testing file for daily inspection on progress
- Daily reporting of progress and issues, for immediate remedial action’s where required
The Ideal Candidate:
- The person should be flexible and approachable,
- Looking to work with people collaboratively and methodically.
- Be a process driven thinker, who is used to working in a fast-paced construction environment
- Have management experience delivering, testing and commissioning on similar projects.
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an AP
