Description
Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for an Electrician with commercial experience to work on various projects across London and Essex. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, also be able to communicate patiently with colleagues and clients.
Our client also works as a collaborative team so would require any candidate to have the correct Ethos and work ethic to match.
Job Role/Responsibilities:
- Undertake Installation, Testing, Servicing, repairing and maintenance on various contracts and projects.
- Have a good all-round level of competency with the electrical installation including metal conduit work.
- Fault Finding – To include documented diagnostics and a clear path to remedial works.
- Electrical Testing Knowledge – EICR, Emergency Lighting Testing.
- Reactive Works – Work on your own initiative and complete tasks in an efficient manner.
- Utilising our job management and testing system, by completing and submitting clear concise, accurate reports for works carried out, further work required and Electrical compliance certification.
Qualifications and Certifications Required:
- NVQ Level 3 and City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 Qualification & 18th Edition
- City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 inspection and testing is favourable.
- An understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
- A good level of Test Certificate and IT Literacy.
- CSCS Card
