Lead Process Engineer

This engineer must be from a pharmaceutical background with a higher technical degree / major in Industrial process or chemical engineering. Permanent or Contract available!

Leading a team of senior, intermediate and junior process engineers

Ownership of the process design associated with a capital project.

Feasibility and Concept studies.

Technical review and approval of process deliverables.

To develop, organise and control programmes to eliminate existing or potential process/engineering problems and deliver plant improvements.

Development of deliverables and manhours estimates and managing process budgets.

Chairing review workshops with clients and other disciplines.

Attendance at proposal presentations.

The ideal candidate will be able to tick the box for most of the desirable skills and experience listed below:

Five plus years of relevant and more importantly successful experience in a pharmaceutical engineering environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Be able to demonstrate great teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Analytical problem solver with excellent decision-making skills.

Advanced time management and organisational skills.

A proven track record showing great leadership and team management to successful outcomes.

It is also important that you can participate in project engineering activities.

Appropriate qualifications in Chemical Engineering e.g. MEng, BEng, BSC, HND, HNC

Understanding of the project delivery all stages of design (concept, front end through to detail manufacture)

Leading a team of Process design engineers in the definition, implementation, and delivery of engineering work packages

Fill-Finish experience is essential.
