Mechanical Fitter (Turbine Experience)

Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for Mechanical Fitters to work on the stripping & building of steam turbine modules and previous experience in these fields is essential!

The successful candidate will also need to be competent to operate small machinery such as a lathe, milling machine, pillar drill, and surface grinder only in the case a component needs modifying and the shop is closed, not as a job role.

The contract is based in Rugby and there will be an accommodation allowance and per diem for contractors who demonstrate they live in excess of 50 miles from the project location. There will be a slight uplift in hourly rate for those who live local and don’t meet the criteria for allowances.
