Description
Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for a Senior M & E Project Manager (Mechanical Bias) Our client is looking for someone who has shown stability by spending at least 3 years at a top tier MEP contractor within London and has managed projects from Inception to Completion.
The role is to work alongside the management team to deliver high end projects within the London area, the first project ear marked for the successful candidate is a 30 million plus high-end shell and core project almost sixty thousand metres squared.
Any successful candidate will need to give examples of projects with a 7 million plus M & E package value that they have managed from start to finish. Working alongside clients, design teams, pre con teams, internal resource, and subcontract specialists.
Necessary Requirements or attributes for the successful candidate:
- Detailed knowledge of the project manager role and associated management software systems
- Excellent team management skills both internal and with sub-contractors
- Able to hold monthly project management meetings.
- Experience in taking large scale projects from Inception to completion.
- Manage performance, monitor, supply feedback, and confront issues through all levels.
- Maintain excellent client working relationships whilst navigating through the project.
- Have a HNC or equivalent as well as a SMSTS or IOSH Manager CSCS Card.
- A Strong technical background with knowledge across a variety of M & E disciplines
- Take Responsibility for Health and Safety adhering to all company and client procedures and following company protocol on any issues that may arise.
- Commercial understanding with the ability to take ownership and deliver projects within budget.
